At Full Circle Health Network we are an open and inclusive clinic. We love being able to support our clients as they navigate their lives. We are fortunate enough to be able to service and support many patients that are LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transsexual, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Ally/Asexual and + to include anyone else falling outside of the above labels).
As a family focused clinic, we are also supporting family members of individuals who are LGBTQIA+ either directly, through our counselling/psychotherapy or occupational therapy services or indirectly, through our other health care services.
We wanted to take an opportunity to share an excellent article written up in The Atlantic which answers one mother’s questions about her own feelings and how to be supportive to her transgendered daughter. It’s definitely a great read- the more clear we can get on how to support the ones we love, the stronger and deeper our relationships can be.
As always, whether you identify as LGBTQIA+ or have someone in your life that does, we are here to support you in living your best life while strengthening those relationships most important to you!
